"Anbagam” is a Special School and home for Retarded and Multiple Disables under All India Physically Handicapped
Welfare Trust, We have substantially improved our services towards rehabilitating with satisfaction.
The mentally retarded and Multiple Disabled with the sole aim of improving the living standards of the disabled in planned and possible manner and also to make sure this Socially innocents body recognized by Govt. of India.
“Anbagam” was started in the year 1996 by Severthna Dr.P.Veeramani who is the Founder, Managing Trustee cum Director of this institution. He is highly talented to help the poor and downtrodden people, Specially, handicapped and mentally retarded person for which his service are recognized by the Government and Private Social Organization and many awards granted to him. He was awarded the title
“SEVARATHNA” By honorable justice P.Baskaran,”RAJIV GANDHI AWARD” was awarded to him 1995.
Apart from the awards Dr.P.Veeramani has get so many special certificates on various grounds.Raja Sir Annamalai Chettiar memorial Trust selected our institute Anbagam selected as best institute and awarded a cash prize of One Lakh(1,00,000) with a shield and a certificate for the year 2008. We sincerely thank for the award and for recognizing our services.
The activities of “Anbagam” is formulated, controlled and guided by Managing Committee of 11 office
Bearers and 8 Executive
Committee Members. The President of the Managing Committee of ”Anbagam” is Hon’ble Justice S.Mohan, a retired judge of Supreme Court of India, whose love and affection towards Tamil Language and the down trodden particularly towards the disabled persons are well known to everybody. He stared his carrier as a Lawyer in 1954 in Chennai High Court and then he occupied many posts in the house of low and he is the author of many books related to laws of the land. He had traveled to many countries. At present he is the key person, interested in the improvement of “Anbagam” whose concern, care and affection towards Downtrodden and multiple disabled persons are well known to everybody. The management of “Anbagam” is constituted and controlled by the managing committee comprising of 11 Office Bearers and 8 Executive Committee Members.
